Section 1-54. Official Bonds.

1. The Town Clerk shall give a bond payable to the Town in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
2. The Town Treasures shall give a bond payable to the Town in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
3. The Chief of Police shall give a bond payable to the Town in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
4. The Town Secretary shall give a bond payable to the Town in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
5. The Municipal Court Clerk shall give a bond payable to the Town in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties.
6. The Board of Trustees, by motion or resolution, may require other officers and employees to be bonded.
