Section 1-11. Town Secretary.
There is hereby created the position of Town Secretary of the town of Tryon. The Town Secretary of the Town of Tryon shall not be the Town Clerk of said town. Said Secretary shall have the duties and responsibilities as may be from time to time assigned to the Town Secretary by the Town Board of Trustees. The person serving and performing such duties shall serve solely at the pleasure of the Board of Trustees. The compensation for performing said duties shall be set by the town Board of Trustees by Ordinance or Resolution. The salary for performing such duties shall in all cases be subject to all constitutional restrictions and limitations.
