Section 19-77. Penalty
- Any person found to be violating any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be served by the Town of Tryon with a notice stating the nature of the and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
- Any person who shall commit any violation beyond the time limit provided for in (A) above shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) excluding costs, for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
- Any person who shall commit any violation involving the regulation of pretreatment of wastewater or regulating storm-water discharge beyond the time limit provided for in (A) above shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) excluding costs, for each violation. Each day in which any such shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
- Any person violating any of the provisions of Chapter 19 of the Tryon Town Code shall be liable to the Town for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned to the Town by reason of such violation.
