The Town of Tryon provides water, sewer, and trash services to residential and commercial customers.
To report a problem with your utility services or billing, please contact the Utility Billing Clerk at (918) 374-2227.

If you are having emergency water or waste water issues after regular business hours, please call (918) 374-2227.

Attention customers: PayPal charges a 3% service fee on all electronic payments. Please factor that into the amount of your payment if you are using this service. Tryon City Hall still accepts checks and money orders, we offer this method only as a convenience to our customers.

You will need to fill out a service agreement, have an up-to-date driver’s license/state ID, and $200 in check or money order ($150 deposit and $50 connection / set up fee)

How do I get mobile notifications sent to my phone?

To receive mobile notifications about outages, updates, maintenance, and other pertinent information concerning your utilities, text “TRYON” to 91896.

Quick Facts

If you live in the town of Tryon, you cannot dwell in a home without proper water and sewer services.

If you tamper with the water meter, you will be fined a minimum fine of $500 and must appear in municipal court.

How do I setup Utilities?

To become a customer of Tryon WATER/SEWER/TRASH, you will need to fill out a service agreement, have an up-to-date driver’s license/state ID, and $200 in check or money order ($150 deposit and $50 connection / set up fee) 

Billing for water utilities are as follows; 

  • $23.10 Minimum for the first 1000 gallons
  • $3.68 per 1000 gallons from 1001 to 2000 gallons
  • $4.72 per 1000 gallons from 2001 to 3000 gallons
  • $5.28 per 1000 gallons from 3001 gallons to 4000 gallons
  • $5.28 per 1000 gallons from 4001 gallons to 5000 gallons
  • $7.88 per 1000 gallons from 5001 gallons on up

5% increase each year in July.

Garbage rates are as follows; 

  • 1 Poly cart $25 
  • 2 Poly Carts $35
  • 1 2-Yard Dumpster $60 monthly  
  • 4-Yard Dumpster $100 monthly
  • 6-Yard $155 monthly 
  • 8-Yard $210 monthly
